What we collect
Our website runs no advertising trackers or third-party profiling analytics. The contact form does not transmit anything to us on its own: it opens a pre-filled draft in your own email client, and we only receive what you choose to send to hello@ankya.io. When you email us, we receive your name, email address, any organisation you mention, and your message. Your browser and our hosting providers keep standard server logs (IP, request metadata) briefly for security and reliability.
Why we collect it
Solely to respond to your enquiry and, if we work together, to deliver the engagement. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.
How we store it
Email you send us is held in our email environment (Google Workspace), with access limited to the people who need it. We retain enquiry emails for up to 24 months from receipt, then delete them, unless a legal obligation requires us to keep them longer.
Overseas disclosure
Our email and infrastructure providers (for example Google and Cloudflare) may process data in facilities outside Australia. Where that occurs we use providers that contractually commit to comparable protections. We will tell you if an engagement requires data to stay strictly in-country.
Data breaches
If we become aware of a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner and the people affected, in line with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Principles you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@ankya.io and we will action it. If you are not satisfied you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
